The Ultimate Sweet & Crunchy Treat!

If you love chocolate, peanut butter, and a little crunch, then this Valentine puppy chow is about to be your new favorite snack. A fun twist on the classic, this Valentineโ€™s Day puppy chow is the perfect mix of sweet, crunchy, and completely addicting. Whether you call it muddy buddies, valentines puppy chow, or just the best snack ever, one thing is for sureโ€”you wonโ€™t be able to stop at just one handful!

Valentine puppy chow made with chocolate-coated cereal, powdered sugar, and festive red sprinkles, served on a white rectangular plate for a sweet holiday treat.

Why You’ll Love This Valentine Puppy Chow

The best part? Itโ€™s ridiculously easy to make. Just coat crispy cereal in a smooth blend of chocolate and peanut butter, toss it in powdered sugar (or a little vanilla protein powder for a sneaky boost!), and youโ€™ve got a festive, homemade treat thatโ€™s perfect for sharing. Or notโ€”no judgment here.

Want to make it extra special? Customize your Valentines Day muddy buddies with mix-ins like festive sprinkles, heart-shaped chocolates, or even crushed freeze-dried strawberries for a little fruity twist. Pack it up in cute little bags, and youโ€™ve got the perfect DIY Valentineโ€™s gift for your BFF, SO, or honestly, just yourself.

So easy, so delicious, and almost too good to share. Almost.

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, melt together your chocolate and coconut oil until smooth.
13 g (3 squares) Fudge Brownie Chocolate Bar, 1 tsp Coconut Oil
  • In a mixing bowl, add in your powdered PB with the water. Mix until smooth. You donโ€™t want it too runny so add a little water in at a time. Add in the melted chocolate and then mix.
13 g (2 tbsp) Powdered Peanut Butter, 1.5 tbsp Water
  • Toss in your Chex cereal and evenly coat. Then add to the fridge for 15-20 mins to harden.
    27 g (1 cups) Rice Chex Cereal
  • Removed and coat in your vanilla protein powder. You can replace this with powdered sugar.
    15 g (2 tbsp) Vanilla Protein Powder
  • Add in your desired mix-ins and store in a jar. I like to keep it refrigerated to always have that crunch!
18 g (0.25 cups) Dark Chocolate Caramel Popcorn, Red & Pink Sprinkles
