S’mores Waffle Sandwich
Ingredients
Wet:
- 1 Whole Brown Egg (Vital Farms)
- 85 g Nonfat Greek Yogurt (Siggi’s)
- 30 ml Unflavored Plant Milk (Good Karma)
- 15 ml Sugar Free Syrup (Mrs Butterworths)
- Splash of Vanilla Extract
Dry:
- 20 g All Purpose Flour (King Arthur)
- 15 g Unflavored Protein Powder (Quest Baking)
- ½ tsp Cinnamon
- Pinch of Salt
- 14 g Graham Crackers (crushed)
- Olive Oil (spray)
Stuffings:
- 14 g Oat Milk Chocolate Hazelnut Spread (Fine & Raw)
- 30 g Sugar Free Mini Marshmallows (Choc Zero)
- 15 ml Sugar Free Syrup
Instructions
Waffle:
- In a bowl, mix together your wet ingredients until smooth.1 Whole Brown Egg, 85 g (0.33 cups) Nonfat Greek Yogurt, 30 ml (2 tbsp) Unflavored Plant Milk, Splash of Vanilla Extract, 15 ml (1 tbsp) Sugar Free Syrup
- Then add in the dry and incorporate. I saved some of the graham crackers for topping.20 g (2.5 tbsp) All Purpose Flour, 15 g (2 tbsp) Unflavored Protein Powder, 1/2 tsp Cinnamon, Pinch of Salt, 14 g (1 tbsp) Graham Crackers
- Spray your waffle iron with olive oil and cook according to the indicator light.Olive Oil
- I let it go on for an extra minute or so do the exterior can get crispy.
Stuffings:
- Once cooked, smear on your hazelnut spread (I saved a little for topping). And then layer on your mini marshmallows.14 g (1 tbsp) Oat Milk Chocolate Hazelnut Spread, 30 g (2 tbsp) Sugar Free Mini Marshmallows
- Fold over the other side of the waffle to make a sandwich and press down your waffle iron again to let it all seal in. Hold it for a minute till it’s ready.
To Serve:
- Smear on any remaining spread to the top of your sandwich and drizzle with your sugar free syrup. Sprinkle on any remaining crushed graham cracker and cut in half to enjoy!15 ml (1 tbsp) Sugar Free Syrup
