Homemade Buttermilk Biscuits and Gravy
Ingredients
Gravy Sauce:
- 2 g Unsalted Butter (Vital Farms)
- 1 Veggie Sausage Patty (Morningstar Farms)
- 4 g All Purpose Flour (King Arthur)
- 120 ml Protein Plant Milk (Good Karma)
- Black Pepper
Assembly:
- 2 Homemade Buttermilk Biscuits (recipe here)
- Green Onion (sliced)
Instructions
Gravy Sauce:
- In a small pan on low to medium heat, melt in your butter.2 g (0.5 tsp) Unsalted Butter
- Then microwave your frozen sausage patty for 30 seconds and crumble up and add to pan. Mix it together and coat in the butter.1 Veggie Sausage Patty
- Sprinkle on your flour and toss everything together.4 g (2 tsp) All Purpose Flour
- Finally add in your milk but in batches of 3. Add a little and let it mix and thicken. Then add more and repeat. You should end up with a nice and creamy sauce.120 ml (0.5 cups) Protein Plant Milk
