Ingredients

French Toast:

  • 1 Large Brown Eggs (Vital Farms)
  • 60 ml Protein Plant Milk (Good Karma)
  • 1 shot Espresso (Nespresso Chairo)
  • 1 tbsp Cacao Powder
  • 6 Pieces Keto Hawaiian Rolls (Better Brand)
  • 7 g Unsalted Butter (Vital Farms)

Cream Cheese Icing:

  • 62 g Reduced Fat Cream Cheese (Philadelphia)
  • 45 g Powdered Sugar (Whole Foods)
  • 2-3 tsp Protein Plant Milk

Topping:

  • 15 ml Sugar Free Syrup (Ms. Buttersworth)

Instructions

French Toast:

  • Thaw your frozen Hawaiian Rolls for 10-15 mins.
    6 Pieces Keto Hawaiian Rolls
  • Brew a shot of espresso
    1 (0.25 cups) shot Espresso
  • Then in a flat dish, add in your egg, milk, espresso, and cacao. Whisk until smooth.
    1 Large Brown Eggs, 60 ml (0.25 cups) Protein Plant Milk, 1 tbsp Cacao Powder
  • Add in your Hawaiian rolls and evenly coat in the mixture.
  • To a pan on medium heat, add in your butter. Once melted, place your rolls and cook evenly on all sides until golden brown. You may need to cook them in 2 batches depending on the size of your pan.
    7 g (0.5 tbsp) Unsalted Butter

Cream Cheese Icing:

  • While your French toast cooks, make your icing by mixing your ingredients together in a small bowl until smooth.
    62 g (0.25 cups) Reduced Fat Cream Cheese, 45 g (6 tbsp) Powdered Sugar, 2-3 tsp Protein Plant Milk

To Serve:

  • Drizzle your French toast with syrup and dip in your icing. Enjoy!
    15 ml (1 tbsp) Sugar Free Syrup
