The Ultimate Protein-Packed Frozen Treat

Say hello to your new favorite dessert: protein frozen s’mores bars! Creamy, crunchy, and packed with flavor, these frozen delights are the ultimate way to satisfy your sweet tooth while sneaking in some extra protein. Perfect for summer or anytime you’re craving a frozen chocolate dessert that feels indulgent but fits your healthy lifestyle.

Frozen s’mores bars made with layers of graham crackers, creamy chocolate filling, and marshmallow fluff, sprinkled with flaky sea salt, served on parchment paper over a wooden board.

Why You’ll Love These Frozen S’mores

These bars are layered with everything you love about a classic s’mores—graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallow vibes—but with a twist. The filling combines reduced-fat cool whip and nonfat Greek yogurt for a luscious, creamy texture with a protein boost. A touch of chocolate protein powder adds that rich cocoa flavor, making these frozen protein s’mores absolutely irresistible.

The process couldn’t be easier. Melt some dark chocolate, drizzle it over a layer of graham crackers, and let it cool. Next, spread the creamy chocolate filling over the cooled chocolate layer and top with another layer of graham crackers. Pop the entire thing into the freezer overnight to set. The result? Frozen s’mores ice cream sandwiches with the perfect crunch and a creamy, chocolatey center that melts in your mouth.

If you’re a fan of frozen chocolate desserts, these bars are a total game-changer. They take just 10 minutes to assemble, and the hardest part is waiting for them to freeze! Pro tip: sprinkle a little flaky salt on top before serving to bring out the chocolatey goodness even more.

Whether you’re sharing them with friends or keeping them all for yourself, these protein frozen s’mores bars are a must-try. One bite, and you’ll see why this viral food trend is worth the hype.

Instructions

Chocolate Cool Whip:

  • In a bowl, mix together your cool whip, yogurt, and protein powder until smooth and fully incorporated.
113 g (1.5 cups) Reduced Fat Whipped Topping, 75 g (0.33 cups) Nonfat Plain Greek Yogurt, 30 g (2 tbsp) Chocolate Protein Powder

S’mores:

  • Line any dish with parchment paper and lay down half your graham cracker sheets, split in half. You want them as close together as possible.
    90 g (6 sheets) Honey Graham Crackers
  • In a bowl, melt your chocolate in the microwave at 15 second intervals until smooth.
27 g (1 oz) Sea Salt Extra Dark Chocolate
  • Drizzle it on top of your graham crackers and use a spatula to evenly spread. My apartment was cool so the chocolate hardened on its own. If it’s still wet, refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
  • Add dollops of your chocolate cool whip and spread evenly across all the crackers. Then top with the remaining crackers. Freeze overnight or for at least 2 hours.

Serve:

  • When ready to enjoy, remove from the dish and sprinkle the tops with flaky sea salt.
    Flaky Sea Salt
  • Carefully cut with a knife down the dividing edges of the crackers. You should have 6 bars/squares.
  • Enjoy however many you want and freeze back the rest!
