A High-Protein Take on a Fast Food Classic
Letโs bring back one of the most iconic drive-thru snacksโonly better, cheesier, and protein-packed. These Little Caesars Crazy Puffs may have gone viral for a reason, but this homemade version? Totally worth the repeat. You get all the gooey, pizza-filled goodness of the originalsโjust with better ingredients and a dough thatโs made from scratch.

I grew up on Little Caesars, and those cheesy crazy puffs were always a treat. But instead of heading to the drive-thru, Iโm whipping them up at home with my go-to high-protein dough: a simple mix of flour, protein powder, and Greek yogurt that bakes up golden and fluffy. Press it into a muffin tin, fill with sauce and cheese, and youโve basically got a mini pizza party in every bite.
The best part? These pizza crazy puffs get crispy on the outside, melty in the center, and are perfect for dunking in a quick homemade Greek yogurt ranch. Whether youโre into the viral trend or just love a fun savory snack, this Little Caesars crazy puffs recipe hits all the right notes.
Itโs fast, fun, and seriously satisfying. Make it once and youโll see why this throwback deserves a spot in your regular lunch or snack lineup.
Why You’ll Love These Cheesy Crazy Puffs

- Quick & Fun to Make: These pizza puffs come together in under 20 minutes with minimal prep. Theyโre perfect for a weekday lunch or afternoon snack.
- Protein-Packed Dough: The homemade dough is made with flour, protein powder, and Greek yogurt, adding a nutritional punch without compromising on flavor or texture.
- Cheesy, Saucy Center: Each puff is filled with pizza sauce and fat-free mozzarella that melts into a gooey, irresistible center.
- Crispy, Buttery Edges: Thanks to a quick garlic-butter seasoning blend brushed into the muffin tin, the edges bake up golden and flavorful.
- Kid-Friendly & Crowd-Pleasing: These are fun, portable, and easy to serveโwhether youโre feeding yourself or sharing with others.
- Great for Dipping: Paired with a quick homemade ranch or marinara, these are practically begging to be dunked.
