Hong Kong Style French Toast
Ingredients
French Toast:
- 26 g Powdered Peanut Butter (PB2)
- ¼ cup Water
- 6 slices Protein Seeded Bread (Higher Harvest H-E-B)
- 1 Large Brown Egg (Vital Farms)
- 60 ml Lactose Free Fat Free Milk (H-E-B)
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Pinch of Cinnamon
To Serve:
- Strawberry (sliced)
- 30 ml Sugar Free Syrup (Mrs Butterworths)
- Powdered Sugar
Instructions
French Toast:
- In a small bowl, mixed together your powdered PB and water until smooth.26 g (0.25 cups) Powdered Peanut Butter, 1/4 cup Water
- Make a sandwich with your 3 slices of bread with PB in the middle of each layer. Repeat for the second sandwich.6 slices Protein Seeded Bread
- Cut off the crusts so it’s a clean square. Don’t throw them away though!
- In a flat dish, whisk together your egg, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon to make your French toast mixture.1 Large Brown Egg, 60 ml (0.25 cups) Lactose Free Fat Free Milk, 1 tsp Vanilla Extract, Pinch of Cinnamon
- Quickly dip each of your toast sandwich and add to your air fryer basket lined with parchment paper. Don’t overstock otherwise they will be too soggy! Repeat for the discarded edges.
- Air fry at 400° for 10 mins, flipping halfway.
To Serve:
