Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Hearts
Ingredients
PB Base:
- 39 g Powdered Peanut Butter (PB2)
- 2 tbsp Water
- 28 g Unflavored Protein Powder (Quest Baking)
- 30 g Oat Flour (Higher Harvest H-E-B)
- 30 ml Sugar Free Syrup (Mrs Butterworths)
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Chocolate Layer:
- 71 g Sea Salt Dark Chocolate Bar (Gatsby’s)
- 10 ml Coconut Oil
To Top:
- Red Sprinkles
Instructions
PB Base:
- In a mixing bowl, add in your powdered PB + water and mix until you get a creamy consistency.39 g (6 tbsp) Powdered Peanut Butter, 2 tbsp Water
- Then add in the remaining ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.28 g (0.25 cups) Unflavored Protein Powder, 30 g (0.25 cups) Oat Flour, 30 ml (2 tbsp) Sugar Free Syrup, 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Scoop out a tablespoon full (mine were ~22g each) and lightly dust with some oat flour to make easier to roll.
- Roll into a ball, and mold to create a heart shape. Add to a parchment lined plate. Then freeze for 15 minutes.
Chocolate Layer:
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, add in your chocolate and coconut oil. Microwave at 20 second intervals until melted.71 g (2.5 oz) Sea Salt Dark Chocolate Bar, 10 ml (2 tsp) Coconut Oil
- Use two forks and dip each heart into the chocolate. It will harden quickly so move fast.
To Top:
- Place onto a plate and sprinkle with red sprinkles.Red Sprinkles
