- 7 g Almond Flour (Bob’s Red Mill)
- 7 g All-Purpose Flour (King Arthur)
- 15 g Unflavored Protein Powder (Isopure)
- 16 g Zero Calorie Sweetener (H-E-B)
- 7 g Light Butter (Smart Balance)
- ½ tsp Almond Extract
- ½ Large Brown Egg (Vital Farms)
Gingerbread French Toast:
- 3 slices Ezekiel Bread (Food for Life)
- ½ Large Brown Egg (Vital Farms)
- 30 ml Unsweetened Protein Plan Milk (Good Karma)
- ½ tsp Almond Extract
- ½ tsp Cinnamon
- ½ tsp Ground Ginger
- ¼ tsp Nutmeg
To Top:
- 8 g Almond Slices (Fisher)
- Powdered Sugar
- 10 ml Sugar Free Syrup (Mrs Butterworths)
Instructions
Almond Filling:
- In a small bowl, whisk together your egg.1/2 Large Brown Egg
- In a mixing bowl, add all your ingredients together and mix until nice and smooth. It shouldn’t be too runny and more of a paste like consistency.7 g (1 tbsp) Almond Flour, 7 g (1 tbsp) All-Purpose Flour, 15 g (2.5 tbsp) Unflavored Protein Powder, 16 g (4 tsp) Zero Calorie Sweetener, 7 g (0.5 tbsp) Light Butter, 1/2 tsp Almond Extract
Gingerbread French Toast:
- Grab a slice of bread and spread 1/3 of the almond filling. Top with another slice and repeat. Finally, top with the third slice.3 slices Ezekiel Bread
- In a shallow dish, mix together the batter ingredients. Dip your sandwich and coat evenly on all sides. It should soak up all the liquid.
