Korean BBQ Tempeh Sandwich
Ingredients
Tempeh:
- 15 ml Korean BBQ Sauce (H-E-B)
- 64 g Tempeh (sliced)
Gochujang Sauce:
- 28 g Plain Nonfat Greek Yogurt (Siggi’s)
- 5 g Hot & Sweet Gochujang Sauce (Bibigo)
Sandwich:
- 2 slices Sprouted Grain Bread (Food For Life)
- Handful of Lettuce
- 1 Large Brown Egg (Vital Farms)
Instructions
Tempeh:
- In a shallow bowl, add your bbq sauce and lay in the slices of tempeh. Coat both sides and then add to your air fryer basket evenly with no overlap.15 ml (1 tbsp) Korean BBQ Sauce, 64 g (2.25 oz) Tempeh
- Air fry at 375° for 8-10 minutes, flipping over halfway.
Gochujang Sauce:
- In a small bowl, mix together your yogurt and Gochujang sauce.28 g (2 tbsp) Plain Nonfat Greek Yogurt, 5 g (1 tsp) Hot & Sweet Gochujang Sauce
- Fry your egg in a small pan with olive oil spray. I like to cook my over medium so all the whites are cooked but the middle stays jammy.1 Large Brown Egg
- Toast your slices of bread in a toaster oven.2 slices Sprouted Grain Bread
Sandwich:
- Assemble your sandwich by laying down a slice of toast and spreading the sauce.
