Gingerbread French Toast Casserole
Ingredients
Wet:
- 1 Large Brown Egg (Vital Farms)
- 60 ml Unsweetened Plant Milk (Milkadamia)
- 30 ml Low-fat Buttermilk (Whole Foods)
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 8 ml Molasses (Brer Rabbit)
Dry:
- 15 g Unflavored Whey Isolate Protein Powder (Isopure)
- 110 g Challah Bread (cubed)
To Top:
- 10 g Fat Free Whipped Topping (Reddi Wip)
- Powdered Sugar
- 15 ml Sugar Free Syrup
Instructions
Wet:
- In a mixing bowl, mix together your wet ingredients. Ensure the molasses gets evenly mixed in.1 Large Brown Egg, 60 ml (0.25 cups) Unsweetened Plant Milk, 30 ml (2 tbsp) Low-fat Buttermilk, 1 tsp Vanilla Extract, 8 ml (0.5 tbsp) Molasses
Dry:
- Add in the protein powder and mix together ensure there are no clumps.15 g (1.5 tbsp) Unflavored Whey Isolate Protein Powder
- Cut your challah bread into cubes and then add into the same bowl. Carefully use a spoon to mix and coat the cubes with the mixture.110 g (0.5 cups) Challah Bread
- Grab an oven safe bowl and spray with a little bit of olive oil. Use a paper towel to spread it around the edges.
- Bake at 350° for 25-30 mins.
To Top:
