Ingredients

Filling:

  • 25 g Kadayik Shredded Filo (Alkis)
  • 14 g Sweet Pistachio Spread (Fine & Raw)
  • 56 g Nonfat Plain Greek Yogurt (Siggiโ€™s)

French Toast:

  • 48 g Large Brown Egg (Vital Farms)
  • 45 ml Unsweetened Protein Plant Milk (Good Karma)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Bean Paste (Nielsen Massey)
  • 7 g Chocolate Protein Powder (Quest)
  • 75 g 100% Whole Grain Sugar Free Bread (Natureโ€™s Own)

Toppings:

  • 14 g Sea Salt Extra Dark Chocolate (Gatsby)
  • Powdered Sugar
  • 10 ml Sugar Free Syrup (Mrs Butterworths)

Instructions

Filling:

  • Add your filo to a sauce pan lightly sprayed with olive oil. Keep on low heat and continuously stir for 8-10 minutes until it turns golden brown.
    25 g (0.5 cups) Kadayik Shredded Filo
  • Add to a mixing bowl with the pistachio spread and Greek yogurt. Mix until evenly combined.
    14 g (1 tbsp) Sweet Pistachio Spread, 56 g (0.25 cups) Nonfat Plain Greek Yogurt

French Toast:

  • In a shallow dish, add your egg, milk, vanilla, and protein powder. Whisk well to combine.
    48 g (1 whole) Large Brown Egg, 45 ml (3 tbsp) Unsweetened Protein Plant Milk, 1 tsp Vanilla Bean Paste, 7 g (1 tbsp) Chocolate Protein Powder
  • Dip in a slice of bread and coat on each side. Then add to a pan lightly sprayed with oil. Cook until golden brown on each side. Repeat for the remaining slices.
    75 g (2 slices) 100% Whole Grain Sugar Free Bread

Toppings:

  • Add chunks of chocolate to a bowl and microwave at 15 second intervals until smooth.
    14 g (0.5 oz) Sea Salt Extra Dark Chocolate
  • Lay down one slice of french toast and top with half of the filling mixture. Evenly spread and then drizzle on melted chocolate.
  • Top with the second slice of toast and repeat. Add in the last slice and sprinkle powdered sugar.
    Powdered Sugar
  • Drizzle the remaining melted chocolate, add more powdered sugar, and pour on the syrup. Then enjoy that crunch and flavor.
    10 ml (2 tsp) Sugar Free Syrup
