Blood Orange & Mint Mezcal Margarita
Ingredients
- 4 oz Mezcal (400 Conejos)
- 1 oz Orange Liquor (Cointreau)
- 4 oz Blood Orange Juice
- 2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 oz Sugar Free Syrup (Mrs Butterworths)
- 4-5 Mint Leaves
Rim:
- Zero Calorie Sweetener (H-E-B)
- Chili Lime Seasoning (Trader Joe’s)
- Lime Zest
Instructions
- Add your serving glasses to the fridge or freezer to chill.
- In a glass or shaker, add in all your ingredients but the mint leaves.
- In a glass, muddle your mint leaves with a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon.
- Add to the shaker with ice cubes. Pop on the top and shake vigorously for a few seconds. Set aside.
- In a small plate add in your rim ingredients. Give it a quick mix.
- Grab your glasses from the fridge and rub the edges with lime. Dip in the mixture and coat the edge.
- Then pour in your drink into your chilled glasses. Garnish with orange slices and enjoy responsibly!
